The five Gas Giants listed here and on the TravellerMap exceed the four Gas Giant limit for system Generation. This has been corrected on the list I am revising.

The Irrarrdhang Subsector UWP of Thueknorrurr (Knoellighz 1127) B679002-A Lo Ni / Di might seem strange to Travellers. That is until one learns of the tragic catastrophe that occurred when the world received its first colonial vessel. In 1100, Vargr colonists from the Ascendancy Pact attempted an orbital drop-colony landing onto one of the larger islands. However, before the modular structure could settle, level itself and unpack, a powerful typhoon followed by a seismic sea wave, or tsunami, washed over the shores, flowed inland and dragged the colony dropship out to sea where it capsized and slipped underwater to sink into the depths off the seamount shelf. There were no survivors of the 8000+ Vargr, no distress calls. Thus the world was labeled with a Dieback (Di) Trade Code until further notice.

The orbital Highport that arrived with the dropship, modular colony monitored the calamity. All hands boarded the Jump-1 emergency vessel and departed to report the failure to colonize Thueknorrurr to their funding benefactors at Oethendogh (Knoellighz 1528). The Ascendancy Pact has yet to recoup the investment to try a second landing of a colony. Yet, a Naval Base was established in 1105 adjacent to the dormant Highport, fitting to the abandoned station and maintaining a watch over the claimed world on the “living edge” of the growing polity. Until the world is successfully re-colonized, it remains listed as a 'reserve' for its resources at a later date.

• Thueknorrurr's Law rating of 2 is due to the presence of the Naval base and not due to any law enforcement agencies on the planet.
