Lamdas is a poor, low-population hellworld with a population less than 10,000 sophonts struggling to survive in an inhospitable environment.

• Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes even hourly, life-threatening situations to their inhabitants. Survivors often develop intense survival skills and tend to be grim realists.
• It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Bolivar Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector in the Domain of Vland.
• This world has an Imperial Scout base, capable of handling IISS starships and personnel.
• During the Long Night this world was named Liuduuze.

Its low oxygen levels and little free-standing water have prevented any serious colonization effort.

Point of Interest: Terraforming Evaluation

Scout Service engineers are undertaking a feasibility study (as part of the Bolivar terraforming initiative) on simultaneously raising oxygen and water levels.

• A recent study has shown substantial quantities of water trapped below the polar and sub-polar surface, in the form of complex water-methane ice silicates.
• The terraforming feasibility is an ongoing project designed to provide much needed environment for colonization.
