The Primordials, aka "Sparklers", are a highly-advanced precursor race estimated to pre-date the much better known Ancients.

History & Background (Dossier)

A small number of highly technologically advanced artifacts have been discovered by the Knightfall Project. These artifacts have been dated circa -600,000, long before the Ancients' civilization. The name for the creators of these artifacts have been tentatively coined as the 'Primordials.'

Technology & Trade (Economy)

It is estimated that the Primordials were a major race with independently-discovered jump drive technology, but little is conclusively known about the Primordials. As one of the oldest known civilizations, the Primordials may even have invented the first jump drive.
