Ushra is an industrial world with a tainted atmosphere. The system has a population over one billion. This system serves as the capital for the subsector. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Ushra Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Ushra, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight (the Imperial representative to the world) and the fiefdoms of a count and the Subsector duke. All three are members of the Imperial Landed Nobility who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level. This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships.  Less than 10% of the world's population is the Major Race Aslan. Less than 10% of the world's population is the Minor Human Race Ziadd.

Description (Planetology)

Ushra is the only TL–16 Industrial world in Dagudashaag sector, and so occupies an important position in the sector’s economy.

Point of Interest: Eden Orbital Naval Complex

Eden Orbital Naval Complex is a Highport, a large facility devoted to construction (shipbuilding) and repair of naval vessels.

• A great deal of development work is done at the complex, directed towards the production of prototype TL–16 naval vessels.
  • Several successful designs have been produced so far, the largest of these being the 40,000-ton strike cruiser Alexander Brayden.
  • Reports that the Navy has established an antimatter production and containment facility in system have been consistently denied.

Other research work is carried out at Naval installations elsewhere in the system.

History & Background (Dossier)

Interestingly, the democratic nature of Ushra’s government, has meant that TL16 technology has reached the general population far sooner than might otherwise be expected (the highest levels of technology are often monopolized by the military in many systems). The standard of living enjoyed by the population is second to none.
