In order to keep all the years straight, we have borrowed ideas from other wikia.
The Category:Timeline has 9 sub categories. These are:
- Category: Years of the long silence (-300,000 to -9234)
- Category: Years of rise of the Vilani (-9235 to -4044)
- Category: Years of the First Imperium (-4045 to -2421)
- Category: Years of the Interstellar wars (-2422 to -2203)
- Category: Years of the Second Imperium (-2204 to -1776)
- Category: Years of the Long Night (-1775 to 0)
- Category: Years of the Third Imperium (0 to 1116)
- Category: Years of the Collapse (1117 to 1199)
- Category: Years of the Fourth Imperium (1200 to 1300)
Each of these categories will have the years in order, There's a trick to getting the category system to organize them properly; use a leading zero(s) to get the dates in "alphabetic" order. [[Category: Years of the Long Night|-00033]] or [[Category: Years of the Third Imperium|01116]] These are part of the Year article (-33 or 1116 respectively).
There is a Category:Events for all events which are not years, but need some place in the timeline. The Events category is also part of the Timeline category.
