The Zhodani discovered a high technology artifact, that they call the star map projector, which they have used to launch a Core Expedition, a trip to the center of the galaxy to find a precursor race known as the Primordials.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The star map projector, like most of the artifacts found at the Zhdant City site is an Ancient artifact, and has both precognitive abilities (It can forecast the future) as well as the ability to project highly accurate astrographical maps of coreward space from Zhodani space.
