Description
Carefully protected green house gardens and farms are critical to survival and serve to limit population growth. Polar ice mines ship water via high speed rail to the bigger settlements which serve as resource distribution hubs.
The largest flying anaerobic heterotrophic consumers in the subsector, are found here. The large gliders, soar in the thick air amid the oddly colored clouds, some filter air plankton species others are deadly efficient carnivores.
The planet's elliptical orbit also necessitates long hibernation cycles for the macro-fauna.
