== History & Background (Dossier) ==
lolanthe [[House Guuilbataashullibaa|Guuilbataashullibaa]] was born on 064-[[1052]], the daughter of [[Ashur Sirush Guuilbataashullibaa]] of [[Tansa Subsector|Tansa]], sector duke of [[Gushemege Sector]] and member of a prominent [[Vilani]] noble family, and Dame [[Celia Abartii]], [[Ancient Order of Vland|K.B.]], former member of the [[Ministry of State|Imperial Diplomatic Corps]], being the fifth child of their marriage{{Page cite|name= Nobles|page= 90}}. Not expected to inherit her father's duchy, at age 14 she joined the retinue of Princess [[Lydia Aella Alkhalikoi|Lydia Alkhalikoi]] as a lady-in-waiting on [[Capital (world)|Capital]] where both attended [[Karbiili School]], becoming close friends. Iolanthe would go on to attend the [[University of Sylea]] where she would earn a doctorate in [[Sophontology|sophontology]], followed by three years of field work on a backwater world in [[Fornast Sector]].

Upon returning to Capital on 1079 she reacquainted with Princess Lydia and was reintroduced to Emperor Strephon, having first met him during his coronation on 1071. Following a brief courtship and consultation with his sister, Strephon asked for Iolanthe's hand in marriage. After thinking on the offer for several days, she married [[Emperor]] [[Strephon]] in [[1079]], eight years after his coronation.

Empress Iolanthe travels frequently, having as of [[1105]] visited the [[Vegan Autonomous District|Vegan Autonomous Region]], the [[Lancian Cultural Region]], the [[Amec Trade Protectorate|Amec Protectorate]], the [[League of Antares]], and the [[Luriani Cultural Association]], earning her a reputation as as an advocate for the Cultural Regions. Within [[Core Sector]], she frequently travels amongst the [[Sylean Worlds]] whilst partaking in ceremonies and festivals celebrating [[Sylean]] heritage, feeling that despite not being of Sylean descent, as Empress she feels it is her responsibility and great honour to support and foster the culture of those to whom the Third Imperium owes a great debt{{Page cite|name= The Third Imperium|page= 52}}.

As of 1105 Empress Iolanthe has not positioned herself regarding support towards a [[Chanestin Kingdom|Chanestin]] cultural region. She does, however, express great admiration for the historical achievements of the Chanestin people and actively engages in fundraising activities to preserve their unique and ancient architectural monuments, some of which are now nearly 3,000 years old{{Page cite|name= The Third Imperium|page= 53}}.

===Era: Rebellion===
She was murdered, along with her husband the [[Emperor]] [[Strephon]] and their daughter the [[Prince|Grand Princess]] [[Ciencia Iphegenia Alkhalikoi]], in [[Dulinor]]’s attempted coup of the [[Imperial Government]] in 132-[[1116]]. The "real" Strephon used some of her frozen ova (in his possession at the time of his exile) to produce another heir, [[Avery Aella Alkhalikoi|Avery]], born on [[Usdiki (world)|Usdiki]] in [[1118]].
