Editing Sirius Gap

The [[Sirius Gap]] was a small but important [[Void]] in the [[Solomani Rim Sector]]. {{WorldS|Sirius|Solomani Rim|1629}} sits between the old [[Terran]] colony at {{WorldS|Fenris|Solomani Rim|1830}} and the cluster of worlds centered on {{WorldS|Shulimik|Solomani Rim|1530}}. As Sirius is an asteroid belt system without gas giants or any other natural source of fuel, bypassing Sirius requires a jump-3 ship or better. 

In ancient times, there was no way for ships to refuel in the Sirius system, so passing between Fenris and Shulimik or {{WorldS|Markhashi|Solomani Rim|1529}} required considerable logistical planning. This fact was of strategic significance during the [[Interstellar Wars]], and again during the [[Long Night]]. During the [[Iilike-Sirius War]] a vital refueling station in Sirius was destroyed. 

Today, the Sirius Gap has once again been “filled in” by a new complex of refueling stations at Sirius.
