This is a practical document describing, for each crew-position: -

Who is holding that position
Where the holder of the position is quartered
The qualifications required to hold the position
What activities that position is responsible for undertaking in each of a number of standard actions through the normal daily cycle of watches and under exceptional circumstances (e.g. Taking on or Discharging Cargo/Passengers; Docking or Leaving Port; Manoeuvring in an Atmosphere; Manoeuvring in Normal Space; While in Jump Space; When preparing for/under attack; as part of Damage Control; When undertaking EVA, etc.)
