The interstellar object WISE 0855−0714 (WISE J085510.83−071442.5) is a sub-brown dwarf (or possibly a rogue Jovian world) of spectral classification Y2 that lies very close to the Sol star system.

The sub-brown dwarf WISE 0855−0714 has an upper-atmospheric temperature just below the freezing point of water and has water clouds in its upper atmosphere.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
WISE 0855−0714 lies approximately 2.23pc from Terra, and is located in a Rimward/Rimtrailing direction from Terra at bearing 235.0o Galactic Longitude and +23.4o North Galactic Latitude.
