I’m a bit interested in playing Traveller. Do you have to pay? As important is it addictive? I’m limiting the Internet games I allow myself because so many are addictive. At the moment all I allow myself is Mahjong and I’m getting a bit tired of that. I suppose I can start just one other. Proxima Centauri 13:08, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, is it addictive? That is one good question... I suppose you could call it that, I started thirty years ago and came back to Traveller recently.
The only cost I can think of related to Traveller is the cost of the various rule sets and suplements that you think you might need. Take a look at some of the published products in the ludography. Alternatively, follow the links on the community portals page to current publishers.
Originally the game was meant as a face-to-face role play situation. Since the change of technology has made it possible to do this on-line, I am certain that there may be a way for you to interact. This wiki does not in and of itself sponsor such a game, but with some searching on the internet I am certain you can find a game to participate in. --Sstefan 16:33, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

I could use a copy as well...--Sstefan 16:24, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
You know you can upload PDFs into the Wiki... Assuming the copyright is OK. Tjoneslo 16:47, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Except you can't upload PDFs because the wiki software won't let you (or it's an Admin/Sysop only function) and you can't upload copyrighted material, so the whole point about uploading in this particular instance is moot.
