U-ma-tran-ji
An island on Liigash, AKA Yuzma, homeworld of the Graytch. U-ma-tran-ji is also a tribal nation; the culture of the Graytch that live on these islands is called U-ma-tran, which is also a demonym.
In the first century of the Third Imperium, U-ma-tran-ji was considered distant by inhabitants of the planet's largest starport.
Trivia[edit]
A gun-harp from U-ma-tran-ji was advertised by the Graytch individual Co-Ba-Tra as a collector’s item; he tried to sell it to Human visitors at his starport shop. The item's handles were made of ke-lit bones and carved into the faces of angels (that being the closest Human equivalent). Co-Ba-Tra claimed to have paid an agency skydiver the equivalent of 5,000 Credits for it, but that it was missing a string. For that, he apparently had to travel to the agro-farms sector of his city, barter for the gut of a ku-an-o beast, and then take it to an elderly U-ma-tran woman who worked at the docks.
