Psionics even affects Zhodani technology. One example of a Zhodani technology affected by psionics is the Psionic Switch. A psionic switch is a mechanical switch buried behind a wall or equipment panel that is intended to be physically manipulated using telekinesis. By installing psionic switches in Zhodani starships, Zhodani engineers make it very difficult for Imperial boarders to gain any sort of control over Zhodani control panels or other hardware.
