Na,Ph,Pi,Po	World is a poor, non-agricultural and preindustrial world with a population size of over a hundred million, but not yet a billion sophonts. It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market. It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them. Life is trying on a world like this and inhabitants are constantly working towards developing a viable source of food production.
