History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Tosiv has been settled in some capacity for almost as long as the Vilani have been spacefaring, around 11,000 years. The original settlements were small high risk ventures from Mimu, the homeward of the S'mrii. The dearth of readily available resources and the punishingly thin atmosphere here kept the Vilani from taking the world outright, but economically Tosiv has been under Vilani dominance for most of its settled existence. The modern population is largely Lancian, a local Human variety, but there are minor populations of Vilani, S'mrii, and Graytch, and the local architecture, as in much of the Lancian Cultural Region, tends toward larger entryways and higher ceilings to account for the local populations.
