Toaba

A Minor Race native to Muarne Sector.

The homeworld of the Toaba is one of several low-technology racial homeworlds in Dluarne Subsector watched over by the nearby Kitram Ascendancy. 8 million live at TL-4 on their agriculturally productive planet.

This proximity of non-spacefaring Minor Races at a similar stage of development is of interest; it's uncertain whether this is a natural, coincidental occurrence or evidence of a prior starfaring era; possibly these are regressed colonies of a destroyed empire, or descended from small groups of survivors following a genocidal conflict.

The Toaba, unlike their neighbours, have semi-regular (if limited) contact with offworlders.
