A Military Unit recognised by the Imperial Army.

Description (Specifications)

A unit sized between a Soldier and an Squad.

A Team is typically commanded by a Corporal.

Teams are routinely deployed by the Imperial Army and Imperial Marines as part of a Squad. Special Forces units may deploy individual Teams behind the lines, but otherwise teams are usually attached to or integral to larger deployed elements.

n.b. Teams have no integral logistical support and are not capable of sustained deployments away from such support.

History & Background (Dossier)

As the unit size one smaller than a Squad, this is a long-standing standard definition that has been around since pre-space days.
