Sorting Entries (May 2015)[edit]
Tjoneslo, the reason why I had numbers in the publications column such as "18 BITS — List of Publications : 18" is to keep them sortable. When you delete the 18 and end up with "BITS — List of Publications : 18", it sorts alphabetically rather than by the number of publications. I think that is less useful. - The problem is your numbers were out of date. So adding a new publication would ensure the sort order is wrong. If you think that sort order by number of products is important, I suggest adding a new column (publication count) with the following: {{PAGESINCATEGORY: <name> Books}}, where <name> matches the title in the publisher column minus the links. So, for example, {{PAGESINCATEGORY: BITS Books}}, {{PAGESINCATEGORY: DSL Ironworks Books}}, etc. Please leave the Publications column even through the sort order is redundant.
