Pulsar

PSR-JO437-4715 is a real-world pulsar located 510 light years from Earth in a coreward-spinward direction in the constellation Pictor. Whoever designated Beacon's location seems to have placed it to match that pulsar, which seems to be the closest to Earth and possibly the only one in Charted Space.
