Ski'Skedrak

Outlaw clans of Drakarans. This N'Toz word refers to those small clans (usually no more than a few hundred or thousand members) formed from families that were expelled from their original clan. Often their ancestors turned to banditry to support themselves. The Ski'Skedrak also include groups with ideologies or goals not acceptable to the mainstream culture of the Taakas Yh'Drak. Since Drakarans have almost no concept of deception, outlaws cannot live secretly and must flee to the fringe -- today, this means usually on uninhabited worlds in distant frontier systems of Ghoekhnael Sector and Chit Botshti Sector. Some are pirates or mercenaries; others operate havens for illegal scientific research.
