Gildemar Tomas Ashley

One of the best known movers of the Solomani faction, though not of the dynasty. Sir Gildemar Tomas Ashley was a prime mover in the abortive civil war now known as the Solomani Rim War (990 to 1002).

Once defeat became inevitable, Ashley and others decided to leave the Imperium and settle a suitable planet on the edge of the Outrim Void in Trojan Reach Sector. The planet Egryn (Trojan Reach 1601) was chosen, and is now known as Ashley's Rock through common usage.

Ashley's memoir, Unrepentant Exile, includes a detailed account of the colonization of that airless world.
