Born Duncan Moore De Geoffrey in -258, he was the third son of Hamish and Sarah De Geoffrey (the middle brother, Alan, was killed in a Reaver raid while serving aboard a Navy ship).
Roger was a much more capable prince than his elder brother Duncan. He expanded the Navy, and centralized court records to being to allow a more stable body of common Caledonian law.
He abdicated in -184 at age 74, and died six years later.
