Born Stuart Hamish De Geoffrey in -237, he was the eldest son of Prince Duncan I and Princess Mary.
Stuart II was a dynamic, confrontational, controversial ruler. He commissioned the colonization of MacBeth in -177, realizing immense wealth from the planet's immense diamond deposits (a boom that continues to this very day). He expanded the Army, updated the starports, and greatly expanded the efforts of the [[Royal Caledonian Expeditionary Service.
On the other hand, he was extraordinarily dissipate in his personal habits - having had several decades to turn into an inveterate playboy and blackguard, not acceding to the thone until age 53.
He died in -168 without any sons, bringing the dynasty of Clan the De Geoffreys to a close. His regent, John Douglass of clan Douglass, succeeded him, bringing Clan Douglass back to the throne for the first time since -252.
