Remanec is an agricultural world with an ideal environment for producing food from plants, animals, or other lifeforms. The system has a population between 100,000 and 10 million sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Kuriishe Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Remanec, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight (the Imperial representative to the world) and the fiefdom of a baron. Both are members of the Imperial Landed Nobility who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel. During the Long Night this world was named Andam'a.

Astrography and Planetology

Remanec is a world of great beauty. Its oceans swarm with bio-luminescent life, its seas are a majestic emerald green, and the hills are mainly composed of a local mineral, Cainite, which is blood red in colour and chalk. Many tourists visit Remanec simply to witness dawn breaking off the coast of the Remanec continent. The sun rising over the coastal mountains highlights the red and white mineral streaks and green vegetation on the land while the sea glows with light.

Remanec has a solitary primary star.

History and Background

Remanec has two main sources of revenue. The tourist industry, which is tghtly controlled by the Seventh Heaven Tourist Company, wholly owned by House Mendlsohn, and its agricultural exports, which are jointly run by all of the seven controlling houses. These noble houses, run the local government. The local population has lived for centuries under the thumb of the noble houses. The media is tightly controlled by House Ulk who uses blatant subliminal messages to reinforce the rule by nobles and primarily highlights the philanthropic good works of the nobility

World Starport (St)

Remanec has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
