Publication of a Paper by an Academic Journal is the raison-d'etre of the Academic world.

A scientist’s life work is the body of papers they submits for peer review and publication in science journals. A scientist who does not publish regularly will find their status in the scientific community diminishing. Papers can be submitted for publication at any class A or B Starport (or University), and will be peer reviewed and (if accepted) published within a number of months. Published Papers establish and affirm scientific credentials for the purpose of obtaining funding. They can be cited in any attempt to influence the scientific community in some way.
