Though Pleione was not properly one of the "Seven Sisters" in the mythology from which this star cluster takes its name (she was in fact their mother), the star Pleione is a member of the Pleiades Cluster (M45) along with her "husband" Atlas, and is located in the Subaru Subsector of the Seven Sisters Sector (a.k.a. Ahkiweahi' Sector) rimward of the Aslan Hierate.
