Ochecate Flu

A common name for the illness caused by hazardous viral forms in the atmosphere of Ochecate, an otherwise inviting world. It is also known as Gray Lung.

The cause is an orthohantavirus carried by the planet's prolific rodent population, and capable of airborne transmission. It affects Mewey, Aslan, Humans, and other sophonts, resulting in severe flu-like symptoms, and eventual respiratory failure and cardiogenic shock.
