The nobles of Naaka (world) have a composite NDF battalion to protect their colonial interests. They insisted the vehicles be able to deal with water obstacles.

They have one company of 11 unarmored transports with 121 soldiers. A captain commands the company and each of the three platoons has a lieutenant. These are used to provide AT and AA coverage for the battalion, with their TAC missile systems.

LIGHT AMPHIBIOUS TRACKED MARINE TRANSPORT (TECH LEVEL 9)[edit]

The vehicle has a crew of 3 (driver, gunner and commander) and carries 8 passengers. It mounts a stabilized turret on the chassis deck with the Whirlwind Tactical Missile System, a laser rifle and a HMG.

There are two 4cm RAM grenade launchers, one mounted remotely, one on each chassis side w/30 HEAP 28 Grenades included in the price for each launcher. Each can engage 1 target, +2 Signature, Direct fire characteristics are:

There are twelve 100kg capacity launch rails on the sides of the turret, 6 per side. The Whirlwind multiple launch guided rocket system has the following TAC missiles available.

(1) The gunner may select to guide the weapon himself using the 5,000 power radio as a command link. 100 kg missile with a HEAP 57 warhead a +3 DM 35km range or 25km range and +10 DM for hypervelocity speed bonus. Cr. 358
(2) The gunner may use the laser rifle mounted in the turret as a target designator or guidance can be relayed to a forward observer who will use their own laser to designate. 100 kg missile with a HEAP 52 warhead a 106km range or 96km range and +10 DM for hypervelocity speed bonus. Cr. 929

They also have one company of 6 bigger and heavier APCs with 228 soldiers. Each vehicle carries a platoon to the FEBA.

AMPHIBIOUS TRACKED APC (TECH LEVEL 9)[edit]

The vehicle has a crew of 3 (driver, gunner, commander). It carries 35 passengers. It mounts a VRF gauss cannon, a co-axial 4cm RAM AGL with a HMG in the commander's cupolas on the turret deck in a stabilized turret.

Movement: Road, 90kph/75 cm; Cross Country, 54kph/45cm, Amphibious 4.5kph/3.75cm.
