Munsonian Royal Navy

With seventy-two million tons of shipping and seven thousand battalions at Thina alone, the royal navy of the Munsonian Principality has a large fleet. The Thina battalions comprise fourteen field armies. The Munsonian Royal Army is vast, and Ceyelorsir (Numbis 0410 E576A9A-A) has another fifteen thousand battalions for defense. The Ceyelosir battalions are grouped into thirty massive field armies of a quarter million troops each.

The dispersed-structure ships built at Shahtbeht are only TL–12 but have jump-3 drives. They are used to move the more advanced TL–14 battle riders and system defense boats built at Thina. The construction capacity of Thina is so vast that every planet in the realm has a defensive force of (40) Constrictor Class Heavy Riders and (40) Skate Class System Defense Boats. The problem is that there are only (10) jump capable destroyers and fleet tenders to move these forces. As a result, the Royal Navy is great on defense but performs poorly on offensive operations. Given time they can mass, but quick reaction is not a strong point. The well known issues with rider deployment and recovery also play a factor.

Each Naval Base has the typical defensive allotment, along with five destroyers and five tenders. There are several classes of commercially produced non-combatants that are pressed into service for fleet support and logistics. The force of twenty heavy riders with their array of factor S meson guns would destroy most enemy capital ships of the line.
