Morris Colin MacArthur, second son of Prince Colin VII and Princess Laura (Barness Kingsloch).
Morris served as an officer in the Caledon system defense forces for 16 years, rising to command an air-defense unit, before joining his older brother's privy council shortly before their father's retirement in 109. At Stuart IV's accession, he told he younger brother that he'd likely step down within ten years. Morris being a diligent man, began serving as his brother's understudy; when Stuart died in a freak riding accident in 117, Morris was ready to step into the job as immediately as the law allowed.
Morris was a very capable administrator, and continued his older brother's and father's reforms quite effectively.
However, his reign was cut short at five years when Morris suffered a head injury during an explosion at a military demonstration at the Rob Roy naval yard in 122. Although he eventually recovered most of his faculties, he was unable to reign, and turned the throne over to his younger brother John.
He lived out his life as a gentleman farmer on an estate in rural Catterickshire, on Caledon.
