The Meson Artillery Vehicle became the standard issue Imperial grav Artillery (at least at the high end of the technology level scale), and was widely distributed within the Third Imperium.

Description (Specifications)[edit]
First deployed just after the end of the Fifth Frontier War by the Imperial Army, the Meson Artillery Vehicle gave a relatively cheap TL–15 mobile Meson Weapon for line deployment in Jump Troops units and others.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Meson Artillery Vehicle was developed as a member of the Trepida & Astrin Grav Vehicle Family for the RDA weapons delivery system.
The Meson Projector has a tunnel diameter of 3m which was too large for the Astrin class Grav APC hull, and thus this 20 dTon related but unique hull system was created. The weapons has a range of over 30,000km and can thus be used to fire at targets in orbit or on the other side of most planets (if its fire can be properly directed at that range).
