Description (Specifications)[edit]
Management can be understood as the means of getting the work done by others. It is concerned with directing or guiding the operations of the organization
It is not the same as administration, which is a process of effectively administering an entire organization. It stresses on laying down the policies and establishing the objectives of the organization.
Generally, Managers work for Administrators.
Both these processes require interpersonal skills and an understanding of how a particular organisation works (or should work) to get things done.
