Lushanuma has a population between 10,000 and 10 million sophonts, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Argi Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Lushanuma, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel. During the Long Night this world was named Shamuum Bii.

History and Background

The world's main advantage has been its "liberal" attitude towards criminals. Although a scout base was finally built in-system which put paid to Lushanuma's career as a pirate freeport it still has a reputation as a market for stolen goods. It is claimed that anything can be obtained here, for a price.

World Starport (Sp)

Lushanuma has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
