Holographic Controls
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Holographic Linked Controls are available from TL–13 upwards and allow the interface to a system to be totally individualised as the entire control set is a hologram with pseudo-physical interaction. This enhances the abilities of the person using those controls and gives significant benefits in reaction times, ease of understanding and use, etc.
The controls consist of a holographic projector and biometric monitors so that even the smallest movement can be utilised. Thus the controls can be scaled for the size of a persons hands, height and reach - preferred field of vision. They can be layered or swept to icon-size. The main issue with such controls is that the configuration of them to your preference can take many hours - indeed some say it is never finished.
