Hiko

A Minor Race that is now extinct. They lived proximate to what is now K'kree Space.

The Hiko were one of several races native to Uraua Subsector. Like these other races, they appear to have died out suddenly; disturbingly, this is one of at least two incidents in which entire populations appear to have suddenly died (the other involves a world deep within the Rimward Corridor). The only clue appears to be a prototype star drive of some kind, developed jointly by the Hiko and a neighbouring race.

The K'kree avoid the region containing the Hiko homeworld, having been thoroughly spooked.
