Hashiikhi supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. Government control of this world is by an external military force. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Sapphyre Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Hashiikhi, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel. During the Long Night this world was named Ariim.

Astrography and planetology

This world is seismically very active, being almost covered with volcaones and large rift valleys as a result of an accident in tectonic engineering by the TL–10 culture that used to inhabit this world until 759. The current inhabitants are the survivors of those too stubborn to leave. The planet's only government is now imposed by the Scout service as they watch to see how much longer the world remains active.
