The star Gamma Serpentis (otherwise known as Ainalhai) is a white main sequence star of spectral type F6.

The region of the habitable zone of Gamma Serpentis where a Terra-norm world would likely be found is centered at ~1.7AU, at which distance such a world would have an orbital period close to 690 days.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Gamma Serpentis star system lies approximately 11.3pc from Terra, and is located in a Coreward/Corespinward direction from Terra at bearing 027.7o Galactic Longitude and +45.7o North Galactic Latitude.
