Gakxaal is a low-population world with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in size.
- This world has yet to take off economically or otherwise and the population remains low for reasons largely unknown.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Perite Subsector of Core Sector in the Domain of Sylea.
Description (Planetology)[edit]
Gakxaal has an unusual number of tall mountain ranges. The world has been largely overlooked because of its high degree of tectonic activity and pervasive fungoids, viruses and bacterial masses. Evolution on Gakxaal never managed to produce complex animal species but microbial life fills its oceans, seas and low-lying valleys.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Trained guides and mountaineers are available to show Travellers the wonders of the planet. One of its more popular attractions is the Glass Valley, a canyon system with billions of loose stones that have been cleansed of dust and regolith by various bacterial species.
