This weekend, depending upon which set of accounting statistics you use, we've surpassed the 6000 active articles mark. According to the wikia stats we are ranked exactly 50th. So three cheers to us. Tjoneslo 17:08, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

2008 -> 2010... anyone think we can get some action on this wikia again? Where are we now?

I am not sure how we can get some action on this wikia again, but I tend to believe that the releases from Mogoose do not change much of what is alreaady here, or we just don't have the permission or will power too see what is different. The pending release of Traveller 5 has very little "Library Data", (at least in the inital draft stages I have seen. Sstefan 14:25, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

Getting more action on the wiki will require work on our part. I believe we have posted 80%+ of the existing canon writing to the wiki, and a great deal of the non-canon library data. I think if there is to be new action on this wiki, the following must be done.

  1. post new content. A small group of 2-4 people dedicated to posting a new article or updating a couple every so often would be sufficient. A new article a week would be a good goal, but one person does not have to do this alone.
  2. Add the content of others. By my last count there are 8-10 Traveller forums of various types. I've generally found someone is posting a new and interesting idea one one or more fairly frequently. Encourage these brilliant minds to re-post their idea to the wiki or request their permission to copy it yourself.
  3. Encourage others to visit. Do this by posting relevant links to the wiki in the discussions you see.

This requires both some dedication and work. And by more than one person. Every little bit helps. Tjoneslo 23:48, March 6, 2011 (UTC)
