Description

One of the longest-established banks in the Rhylanor region, the First Bank of Rhylanor is both safe and convenient as a financial institution and a sound choice as a partner for any form of financing. Governed from Rhylanor, the First Bank of Rhylanor employs thousands of people and generates virtually all of its income from financial activity. Though the firm operates over less than a subsector in terms of its scope, it is very influential within the central Rhylanor Subsector region and has a very large revenue, making it a safe investment. The First Bank of Rhylanor has little interest in research as it is extremely traditional in its outlook and operations, with a highly centralized management that rarely changes its corporate style.

The bank has a reputation for frequent and intrusive security checks on its employees; nevertheless, the staff are well looked after, though at the same time it is regarded fairly neutrally by the greater general public.

History

The FBR is an old, established institution, operating according to traditional practices and dependent on its long-standing reputation for reliability. Over the years this has been an effective strategy. Younger, more dynamic institutions have come and gone, drawing away potential customers for a time and lowering stock-share trading values thru market-competition, but the FBR has always had enough loyal members to keep it profitable through the lean years until its fortunes turn once again. The FBR has branch banks on several neighboring worlds and good relations with correspondent banks on many more. Its interest rates and charges usually tend to be unfavorable compared to younger institutions, but they are also comparably more stable, making them a good choice during times of financial downturn.
