Dougal Butler Stuart, eldest son of Prince Colin and Princess Allison.
16 years old on taking the throne, Dougal had considerable guidance from his cousin, the former Ian V, as well as his regent, Charles Dunwoody, a highly experienced politician.
However, the boy never quite seemed to gel in the job.
Starting in 187, negotiations began to replace him with his uncle-by-marriage, Mark Andrews, husband of his aunt, Eileen MacArthur. Dougal stepped down in 188, and went on to a career as a real estate executive on Rob Roy.
