A distillery or still is a large device for separating and concentrating alcohol from fermenting organic matter. Operators places organic material into a sealed container which is heated until the alcohol boils. This steam directed through a condenser where it is cooled back into a liquid. The source of the heat to boil the source material depends upon the original design. More primitive designs use open flames, TL–5 or later version use electrical heating elements.
A still of this size consumes 30kg of organic material per day and can produce 5 liters of 90% alcohol per day.
