History & Background (Dossier)

In the particular setting of the campaign, DeGrammont is one of Arcon Lines first fleet units. Arcon purchased the ship as surplus from Oberlindes Lines as part of an agreement to assume the shipping route between Jenghe, Ruie, and Regina. This agreement granted Arcon Lines the shipping rights for all Oberlindes merchant cargo and passenger transport contracts for the Regina/Jenghe/Ruie systems.

DeGrammont frequents the space lanes between Regina, Jenghe, and Ruie carrying passengers, cargo, and mail to the frontier world of Jenghe which has become a backwater since the disaster of 971. The ship is named for the famous doctor Roger DeGrammont who became a surgeon and participated in several relief efforts as part of the Doctors Without Borders program.
