The Awiykhalr are not part of the Aslan Hierate, despite their capital's proximity to Kusyu. They are culturally distinct, and practice a monotheistic religion that dominates all aspects of daily life. The clan leader is also the head of this religion, and is himself considered a divine figure. It has been suggested that this religion is inspired by Human cultures, but the clan argues otherwise, claiming to have inherited an Aslan belief system common prior to alien contact.
The dominant language of the clan is not Trokh but an older language, Haeto.
The capital of clan Awiykhalr is at Bacci (Dark Nebula 1123).
