Wosi was one of the last worlds colonized by the Vilani in this sector, about 1018 AD (416 VI). As on many other Vilani worlds, contact with Terrans around 2400 AD brought the "Terran Plagues" and devestated the stable planetary population. In the 1300 years since then, the population has recovered somewhat, and has been supplemented by Terran immigration. Today, Wosi is a fairly quiet backwater world, devoted to farming and mining. Exploration of the wilderness can sometimes reveal spooky ruins of ancient Vilani cities that were abandoned during the plague years.
