Weird Sisters have planets including at least one gas giant and probably has at least one asteroid belt.
History[edit]
As a nearby star system, the star now known as Aglaea was feintly visible to the naked eye from New Earth and so was discovered in Year 0. Aglaea was named because it shone - that it was part of a trinary system was only discovered later. The system is also known as the Three Graces. It became known as the Weird Sisters because on the first two attempts to image it, the telescope malfunctioned and targeted the wrong star! The name stuck in astronomical circles and the naming group eventually bowed to the inevitable.
