Each ship has a number of roles that need to be filled depending on the state of the ship. While not formally part of the Ships Papers, this is an administrative document that helps maintain the efficient functioning of the ship

Main Article: Watch, Quarter and Station Bill
Each ship will have a number of standard activities

e.g.

• In Port (Divided by watches)
• General Steaming (Divided by watches)

and some special evolutions e.g.

• Taking On or Discharging Passengers
• Taking On or Discharging Cargo
• Taking On or Discharging Stores
• Action Stations
• Small-Craft operations
• Making or Leaving Port/Orbit
• Fire
• Hull Breach
• etc.

The Watch, Quarter and Station Bill is one of the pieces of standard ship administration that lists against each activity where each crew member is supposed to be, and what special equipment they are expected to have.

e.g. At Action Stations:

No.1 Turret, Laser Gunner, Vacc Suit;

Medical Bay, Ships Doctor, First Aid Kit; etc.

Each crew member should be assigned a single place for every activity (if only "Off-Watch").
