Campaign:NHNE/General/Space-Worthiness Certificate
Each ship is required to hold an Space-Worthiness Certificate as part of the standard Ships Papers showing date and place of the inspection and name of the issuer.
Description[edit]
The Crew Manifest is one of the pieces of standard ship administration that will be inspected by the port authorities and those other authorities that may, from time-to-time, board the vessel. The document must contain the following information:
- When the Certificate was Issued
- Where the Inspection occurred and the Certificate was Issued
- By Whom the certificate was Issued
The certificate is valid for one calendar year from the date of issue.
Lack of a valid certificate does mean that the vessel will find it extremely hard to get passengers and may see the vessel detained in any port at which it docks.
The Belt is notorious for having a large number of vessels that only periodically bother with certification.
