Description

The various states in the New Earth System all have a common heritage from The Fleet and thus all have similarly worded commissions.

e.g.

We, the Board of the Touchdown Admiralty To Magdalena Holtz. Dated 284-037. By virtue of our charge, and confident of your loyalty, we appoint you this day as an Officer in the Touchdown Space Navy commanding all the Officers and Crew placed under you to jointly and severally behave well in their respective employments. And you shall likewise do your utmost to observe and execute the Instructions, Orders and Directions you shall from time to time receive from your Superior Officers in service of this state.
